Kate and Dallin didn’t want their wedding to feel like a performance.

The mountains are where their relationship grew, where they spend most of their time together, and where they feel most like themselves.

Getting married outside, skiing together, and sharing a quiet moment in the mountains felt far more meaningful to them than a traditional event.

Another big piece is that their relationship has always been built around outdoor adventures. They have hiked and climbed all over the western US together, thru-hiked major trails, and summited dozens of peaks

For them, the mountains are home. Getting married out there just made sense.

This day started before most people in Glacier National Park even had coffee.

We met Hannah and Dylan just after sunrise in the alpine. It was quiet, cold, and the wildflowers were still glowing.

They did a first look and exchanged private vows before anyone else arrived in the park.

Later that evening, we shifted gears. Family. Laughter. Lakeside ceremony near Many Glacier.

Same park. Totally different energy.

Designing days like this is why we do what we do.
