We’re Leti and Stefan,
a husband-and-wife Iceland elopement photography team.
We’re the husband-and-wife team behind Backcountry Portraits. Travel, being outside, and experiencing new places together have always been a big part of our relationship, so we understand why you may want your wedding day to feel the same way.
We have driven Iceland’s roads, hiked its trails, and photographed couples among waterfalls, glaciers, canyons, and black sand beaches. That firsthand experience helps us create realistic plans based on driving time, access, crowds, weather, and what you actually want to experience.
You will have both of us there to photograph the full story, from the scale of the landscape to the quiet moments between you. We offer calm, light guidance when it helps, while giving you the space to be present with each other.
